Gear Review: Five Ten water tennie

Well, I just got these Five Ten water tennies, and I have to say, I think they're the greatest boots to ever happen to me. I have only taken them out a couple of times, but I knew as soon as I put them on that i was going to love them. When i think about how many times I nearly broke off my ankles trying to jump from one slime covered boulder to another in thin neoprene booties, I realize I should have bought these boots a long time ago.

heres what i like about them so far:

-Ankle support.

These boots feel like, well, boots, and they give me the confidence I never had with neoprene booties. I can move faster, my feet are way better protected, and I dont have to worry about the boot slipping sideways off my foot.

-Drain holes

no more sloshing around in puddles like I did with neoprene boots

As for durability, I will have to wait and see how they hold up. They do appear to be rather burly, especially the rubber toecap and heel cup.

Sizing-
I normally wear a 10.5, but I bought a size 10. and it fits fine, although its kind of tight with thicker socks. With medium weight socks and with the drysuit, I think I will be juuuuuust fine.

Bottom line:

I am extremely happy with my purchase, and like I said, i should have bought them long ago.
